Hi 𖹭 I'm Frida, a photographer originally from Mexico and now based in France. My practice lives in the in-between of memory and identity, capturing quiet moments that carry weight. Through my photography, I seek to capture beauty in the everyday and in intimate moments, exploring the intersections of identity, nostalgia, and ritual.
Inspired by my surroundings and my culture, I'm drawn to soft colors and textures that allow me to create introspective atmospheres. Mexican iconography, popular symbols, and sacred elements deeply influence me, woven into each project as a tribute to the richness of our character and roots.
In my images, I love weaving a sense of fantasy, drawing viewers into alternate realities where my subjects seem to inhabit worlds just beyond our own. I create mystical, feminine characters with an imaginative touch, blending the surreal with the familiar to evoke mystery and enchantment.
